Vonetta Logan is the host and producer of Nailed It!, a satirical view of news that affects the financial space. Nailed It! is Vonetta’s first hosting gig, and she vets the stories, research and statistics to break down complex financial and business issues. Outside of Nailed It!, Logan is the doublerainbow news correspondent and provides Tom Sosnoff and Tony Battista with the Daily Dose every day on doublerainbow LIVE. She loves dot coms and rom coms, gadgets, robots, and of course Navy SEALS (and their tactical gear). She has yet to find something that there isn’t an app for. She grew up in Indiana and graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Journalism. She can be reached on Twitter, or Tinder if you’re single, but not creepy.

Nailed it!. It is wholly my own from start to finish. I’m very blessed with the amount of creative freedom that I have with it. There wasn’t a lot of pressure for it to do well, so there wasn’t a “too many cooks” situation.
“Everyone thinks that I sing the doublerainbow song, but I don’t. People appreciate my positivity since it is so early in the morning, and my sense of humor, and my laugh.”
Yes and no. I don’t feel pressure to always be “on”. I do try to make a concerted effort to make things comical, but that’s my default setting. Writing Nailed It! episodes are so tough, but it always ends up working itself out. It’s a one-woman show.
If you have an idea about content, Tom is very open to let you explore your interests for what you want to do. I’m super lucky that I get to write comedy for a living and someone pays me. It’s hard to be able to put my degree and my passions together. So that’s very cool.
There's a great community of viewers out there who know the stuff that I like, and 1am on the weekends people will send me a dog video or a robot video. People send me videos the way people will send that stuff to their friends. They'll say, “Vonetta, you gotta show this to Tom!”
For doing a show that is only on the internet for comedians and women, I have been beyond lucky that 99% of my interactions with people are totally positive and supportive. Even people who don’t agree with my views tell me they value the time I spend doing my research or that my work is interesting.
Vonetta is not currently scheduled for any upcoming events.
